Story
Hey everyone :)
After much thought, I have decided that if you are planning to bring me a present for my 21st birthday, I would prefer if you would donate some of your hard-earned money towards the charity of my choice. :)
The charity that I have chosen is World Vision – Education. I believe that empowering and equipping the next generation with the tools and resources to excel can lead to a better way of life. With 120 million children up to the age 15 being un-schooled, this leads to the vicious cycle of poverty and making it harder to break free from its grasp.
Nelson Mandela once quoted “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. So, be the change you wish to see in the world. Allow children to have the opportunity to change THEIR world, to break free from the perpetual cycle of loss, uncertainty, and hopelessness.
Any donations large or small would be greatly appreciated. :)
Also, donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
