Hello Everyone! 

How have you been? I guess it probably has been a really strange time for you as it is for me......

When I went back to Taiwan in early January this year, the bush fires were still pretty bad here in Australia, I told myself and my family, I am going to adopt a koala, a wombat or some injured animals this year and try to help out. Towards the end of my trip in Taiwan in late January, Covid-19 (it was still known as Wuhan Virus) spread, and when I got back, my thoughts were so preoccupied with the pandemic, political news and also trying to adjust and adapt to the new way of working and living. It has been a condensed learning curve and hasn't been all that easy. 

Anyway, I have settled into this new life style and feel grateful that we are all still healthy and well, AND I still want to help out those beautiful animals and their habitats. 

A staggering 1 billion animals were estimated to have been killed and more than 18.6 million hectares were burnt from Australia's bush fires in September 2019 to January 2020. We have all helped or donated to RFS and to people who have lost their homes while there were so many fund raisers going around that time. The animals that survived, whether they were injured or not, have all lost their families, friends and homes as well. They can't speak human language, they can't call for help, they can't tell us their pain, but each of them are also very precious and individual beings, they really need our continuing support and love as well.

I don't usually fuss over my birthday and I have never done a fund raiser online like this before, but I want to contribute my birthday this year to "Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife". If you wish to join me, the funds will go help care for the animals that survived the bushfires and protect existing or create new habitats for the wildlife.

If you would like to help me celebrate my birthday this year, this would be the best present you could give me. Any contribution is appreciated, big or small, even $5 goes a long way. I thank you in advance.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife. This fund raiser will only run for 6 days till the end of my birthday on the 6th May.
