Story

I'm turning 33 on April 21st!

For my birthday this year, I've created this page to raise some funds for my work, Amaze, to help fund the projects they are doing to make Victoria and the wider community more understanding and accepting of autistic people, myself included.

Amaze is a not for profit and relies on grants and donations to be able to do the work they do, so any amount donated will really make a difference!

Here's my latest blog so you can get idea of some of the work I'm doing: http://www.amaze.org.au/2019/01/excuse-you-mind-your-language-autism-and-identity-language/

I'm also doing sensory environmental audits, working in the communications team and social media channels, and providing input to content from an autistic perspective.

Thanks so much for your support!

Love,

Joel

Amaze

Amaze aims to create an inclusive society that offers every autistic person the opportunity to meaningfully participate and contribute. We do this by raising awareness and influencing positive change among educators, the government and the wider community. Formed in 1967 by a group of parents struggling to find resources to support their child; Amaze has grown to become the Peak body for autism in Victoria annually providing emotional support, credible information and practical tools to over 13,000 families and individuals on their autism journey from pre-diagnosis and beyond.
