Holly's First Birthday Celebration!
Holly's First Birthday Celebration!
Story
Hi there!
I've heard this is a very special time of year to laugh more, love more and celebrate more with my family and friends!
Mum, Dad and Lew tell me I'm about to find out just how special it really is! But sadly for hundreds of other kids, it proves to be a lonely time without love and support, or even shelter.
As my world is already filled with sugar, spice and all things nice, please help me make the sun shine brighter for other kids doing it tough this Christmas by donating to Kids Under Cover in lieu of a gift for my 1st Birthday.
Thanks so much for your support!
Holly McPherson

Kids Under Cover
Being homeless can happen to anyone.
On any given night, there are more than 116,000 people experiencing homelessness in Australia and nearly half of these are under the age of 25.*
For more than 30 years, Kids Under Cover has been working to prevent youth homelessness.
We know that if young people are not properly supported when they first experience homelessness, they have a higher chance of becoming homeless in their adult lives. Around 40% of homeless adults were first homeless as young people.**
In our work, we focus on early identification and prevention of youth homelessness, creating a proactive rather than a reactive approach to this very complex issue. We do this by building homes and providing scholarships for homeless and at-risk young people.
