On behalf of KT's Bday - It's a *surprise* so please do not tell her!

Hey guys and gals!

Given 30 is such a big year and milestone, and kinda like the new 20, I wanted to do something meaningful on behalf of Kulathevy this year for her birthday. I think 30 is a great age to start to foster and practice investing time and resources into others who need it, so I've decided to do a fundraiser for her birthday this year.

Kulathevy is an exceptionally caring person and passionate about womens and migrant economic and human rights, and given her family is from Jaffna and has been greatly affected by the civil war in Sri Lanka, I thought Palmera was a great cause we could support on her behalf. 

Please also leave a note with your donation. Once we get the donations together, I'll collate the messages into a framed card and present it on all of our behalf on her actual birthday (which will be in the Sahara Dessert in Morocco!). 

I've set donation limits because I don't want people to feel obligated to donate alot. If you want to donate more than the limit, please donate separately :)  The donation limit is a maximum of $50. I have donated more, but I'm married to her so that's cool. You should not do this! 

If you don't want to/can't afford to donate, that is completely fine! Don't feel bad about this please - it's not the point of the exercise.

If you do donate, please also leave a note with your donation. If you do not/can not donate, please PM me your message on FB.
