Emma's 18th Birthday Fundraiser for Save The Children
Emma's 18th Birthday Fundraiser for Save The Children
Story
Hi everyone!
I hope you will all be able to make it to my party. I'm so excited to celebrate my 18th Birthday with all of you.
Instead of collecting a bunch of gifts I don't need, I have decided to instead raise money for a charity close to my heart: Save The Children.
I volunteered with Save The Children for six months last year and I feel that this charity is doing wonderful work all across the world protecting children's basic rights to education, food, clean water, safety and shelter.
I will always remember Rahma, Merwa, Khalid, Mussa, Samira, Sarah, Rizwan and all the other kids I worked with last year - their determination, their enthusiasm and their strength was an inspiration.
I was supposed to be teaching them maths and English, but I'm certain they taught me far more valuable lessons about myself and my life than I could have possibly taught them.
Donations made through this site are secure and will be given directly to Save The Children.
Thanks so much for your support!
Love, hope and peace from Emma x
